APA Event
American Planning Association partnered with the Advance Ohio Events & Marketing team to plan and host their city planners event in the Ohio market. What drew APA to Advance Ohio was not only their capabilities, but their strong brand and presence in the community.

My role was to incorporate themes from a previous APA event and craft an exceptional visual experience for policy makers, elected officials, and community influencers.
We See You
City Planners
Guests arriving to the venue were greeted with a variety of signage, each speaking to what separates city planners from everyone else.
​
The signage served two main purposes: to inform decision makers of the need for planners and to uplift the city planners in attendance.

While designing for the event, it was very important to consider the event venue itself. The venue had fantastic views of the waterfront and a deck to be enjoyed.
We capitalized on the natural desire to look outward to water and placed our key messages there, almost guaranteeing they would be seen.
Floor To Ceiling Representation
At an event informing policy makers and elected officials of the importance of the City Planner role, what better way to do so than to show what the world is like without them and how they craft our spaces for public and business's good.
Exceeding Goals
The event was a great success! They reached 140% of their goal in registrations with 11 council members, 7 mayors, and 5 state representatives in attendance.
